Question:
I have a 2002 Montero Sport Limited. Will this fit? I prefer a class III for a higher tow weight. Is this possible? I have a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe with a Class III. Will it swap? I have measured width and bolt pattern, seems it might only there are four bolts on it instead of the two that would be removed on the tow hooks. Thank you for your help.

The Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch, # 13223, will fit on your 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. It is a Class 3 2-inch hitch with a towing weight capacity of 5,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs.
For towing you will need a ball mount, # C45010, and hitch ball # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 63853 (2-5/16 inch diameter).
You will want to check the owner's manual or with the dealer for the gross towing weight capacity of your 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport to make sure the towing capacity is not exceeded.
The hitch on your 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe will not interchange with the 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport.
