Where should a 14 foot jon boat set on the roller bunks in the flat area or on the rib

If the trailer has bunks now then you would place the roller bunks # DL21741 on them or in the same place using brackets # DL21742 so that the boat rests in the same location as it did before. But if it were me I would position them so the boat rests on the bunks on the flat part and not the ribs.
