Can Tire Pressure Monitoring System be Used with Tire Pressure Monitoring on GMC Yukon
Updated 03/17/2016 | Published 03/15/2016 >
Question:
I am considering using the TM89FR system on a class A RV and will be towing an 09 Yukon. The Yukon has an OEM GMC tire sensor system which was factory installed when new. Can the Hopkins system read the Yukon signals also, or only its own sensors.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Tire Pressure Monitoring System # TM89FR can only read its own transmitters and won't be able to utilize the system on your GMC Yukon.
But if you want to monitor the tire pressure in the Yukon, like when flat towing it behind an RV for example, then this system will work. I have included a link to a video review of this system for you.
