I am installing a curt package on my 2011 jeep compass. I have looked all around and have not found the actual torque specification. I know there is a torque so if you can let me know what it t that would be great

Because the torque specs recommended by the manufacturer can change over time, we don't publish them on the website. However, if you go to the last page (out of 6 pages total) of the linked installation instructions, under the heading 'INSTALLATION STEPS', you can see that step 8 mentions the torque specs for the Curt # C13081 Class III hitch.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll need a few additional items to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness with 4 pole trailer connector, part # 118539
Ball mount, part # 2753
1-7/8 inch trailer ball # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball
