Can You Back Up With a Weight Distribution System Connected

Question:

I have a 2004 f250 Ford 4x4 Super Duty Diesel pickup. I just purchased a curt c17062 wt. dist. system w/sway bar. My question is: Can you back up your trailer with the wt. dist. unit on if you remove only the sway bar?

With weight distribution backing up is possible with the system installed, but you will have to make sure you are backing up mainly in a straight line. If there is any chance you could end up with your trailer jackknifed you will want to remove the spring bars.
