my 2008 tacoma has the cargo rail system on the front and sides of the bed. will the clamps for the cover fit into those rails without having to remove them

I called the manufacturer (Access) and they said that the Access Roll-Up Tonneau Cover- Tacoma Double Cab Short Box, # 834532006755, will work together with your 2008 Toyota Tacoma factory rail system. They said it fits behind your factory rail system. You will need to remove the factory rail system and reinstall the Access cover hardware along with the factory rail system.
I also have the Access Roll-Up Tonneau Cover, # 834532006700, which fits the 2008 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Long Box.
