Question:

I have a four hole pattern bracket on the underside of my 5th wheel to mount a light weight hitch under my Big Country 3950FB. I want to get a hitch that will accommodate a platform style bike rack/holder. What do you recommend? I have not been above to find what I am looking for.

The Curt hitch # 13703 can be welded on or bolted onto your motorhome.

This hitch is a versatile hitch because it will fit box frames, C-Channel frames, and I-Beam frames and it can be bolted or welded on. I would measure the outside to outside frame distance on your Big Country and if it is 22 to 72 inches wide you can use this hitch. This Curt hitch will have the tongue weight capacity of 350lbs. If you decide to weld the hitch the welding should only be done by a qualified professional. I have linked the instructions and a video showing an installation of this hitch for you.

I would also recommend the Swagman # S44FR platform bike rack, because it is rated for RV use and includes a hitch lock and cable. I have also linked a demonstration video of the Swagman Dispatch 2 for you to check out.

It's important to note that all non-trailer loads (bike racks, cargo carriers, etc.) applied to this product must be supported by auxiliary stabilizing straps like # 18050.
