Question:
Regarding video of 3 hitches available for 2015 Toyota Highlander - at about 115 into the video comparing three hitches, it shows and states that the Curt does not have a bracket welded to it bu the other two have a welded bracket. However, the video does not state the purpose or advantage of this small bracket on the left side - what is that bracket for?

You are referring to the trailer wiring bracket that is on the Hidden Hitch part # DT65MR. The Curt hitch part # C13200 does not have this. Let's say you were to install a 4-way on your vehicle and wanted to use a 4-way bracket like part # 18144 to hold it when not in use. The Hidden Hitch would have the ability to easily use that bracket.
If you wanted a 4-way you would need the part # 118449.
