Question:
I have a 2013 ford escape. When I plug in trailer with led lights on the trail. I turn the turn signals and on the dash it says there is a bulb out. What should I do to correct this problem ?

The bulb out error or hyper flashing can occur any time LED lights are used in place of incandescent lights. Usually this issue is found on vehicles but has been know to occur on trailers as well. You will need to make the tow package wiring on the vehicle think there is more draw from the lights. To do this I recommend using load resistors on the affected circuits.
If the trailer lights use the 3-prong plug like # ST70RB you can use # ALEDRST1B. Or you could install resistors such as # DI34ZR along the wiring to the lights. The increased load from the resistors will take care of the problem. I have linked a video showing an example installation of a load resistor.
