Replacement Lid Lifter for Thule Mountaineer Cargo Box

Question:
I have worn out the lid lifter hinges on my Thule mountaineer cargo box. The closest parts on your website are th14933 and th14936. Will they fit my cargo box and is there a right and left? Thanks

For your Thule Mountaineer Cargo Box, the replacement hinge you will want is the Thule Replacement Dual Force Strut for Thule Roof Box # TH14936.
I spoke with my contact at Thule and she confirmed that this is the compatible replacement lid lifter for your Mountaineer cargo box. There are not different hinges for each side of your cargo box. You will want to use # TH14936 for either side of the box. The other hinge you mentioned is the replacement but is no longer available and the # TH14936 has the same dimensions with a stronger spring.
