How Do Vehicles Track When Being Flat Towed Behind RV

when using a Nighthawk tow bar, how well will the toad track with the tow vehicle? and is backing up a problem?

The Roadmaster Nighthawk, part # RM-676, is one of the nicest tow bars on the market. The tow vehicle will track right behind the vehicle as you are traveling. Since the front wheels of the vehicle will be unlocked the vehicle will steer itself in the same direction as the tow vehicle.
When you are flat towing a vehicle you will not be able to reverse with the toad connected. It would have to be disconnected if you have to reverse. That is true for any tow bar/base plate combination.
