TRUNK MOUNTED BIKE RACK FOR MINI COOPER COUNTRYMAN Let me know the best compatible bike rack for a 2015 MINI COUNTRYMAN?

To carry bikes the 2015 Mini Countryman is going to require either a roof rack or a trailer hitch. I recommend using a trailer hitch because it is ultimately less money and it is much easier to load and unload the bikes.

For a trailer hitch I recommend # C11333 and the support strap # 18050 for your Countryman. This is a Class I trailer hitch so the bike rack needs to be rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.

For a compatible bike rack I recommend the Swagman Trailhead # S63360. This carrier is Class I compatible, holds 2 bikes, and has a rise in the shank for additional ground clearance. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
