Brake Winch Recommendation for 4,400 lb Boat

Question:

I need a brake winch with strap for my 2013 Hurricane by Road Runner trailer for my 23foot Hurricane deck boat that weighs approximately 4400 lbs. What do you have for this application. Thank you.

When picking out a winch the general rule of thumb for boat applications is that you need a ratio of 2 to 1 to determine the correct capacity.

So the Dutton Lainson Brake Winch part # DL15721 would be a great option as it has a 2,500 capacity.
