Should Grease Be Added to EZ Lube Trailer Hubs if the Bearings were Manually Packed with Grease
Updated 01/06/2016 | Published 01/05/2016 >
Question:
I recently bought these drums and installed after packing the bearings. After I install do I need to pump grease into the ezlube axle or is just the normal packing all it needs. I did pump some in but never really flowed back out the front

On EZ lube hubs and axles you would want to add grease until it is full (when you see it flow out). When that happens it indicates that the proper amount of grease is in the hub. Having the bearings packed and the little bit of grease you have added is probably fine but it is better to be safe and fill 'em up!
