Do the Front Holes Have to Be Drilled to Install Trailer Hitch in a 2006 Toyota Tundra
Updated 01/05/2016 | Published 01/04/2016 >
Question:
I do escorting for oversize loads and want to put a front mount hitch on my 06 Tundra... Ill be using the hitch for holding a sign so its not much weight at all... maybe 35 pounds at most. My question is do I need to drill the two extra holes for the hitch?

To install the Curt front hitch part # 31180 in your 2006 Toyota Tundra will require you to drill the two holes closest to the front of the vehicle on the trailer frame. I can't recommend you skip this step otherwise the warranty of the hitch would be voided.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
