Tire Chain Recommendation for a 2015 Subaru Forester with 225/60-17

Question:
We have a 2015 Subaru Forester and we need some tire chains. Will your Glacier chains fit the standard 17inch tires and do I need to purchase 2 sets since the Forester is AWD?

The standard 17 inch wheel size for the 2015 Subaru Forester is 225/60-17. The Glacier Cables part # PW1038 that you referenced have been confirmed to fit this tire size so they would work well for you.

For AWD drive vehicles (and all vehicles really), having chains on all 4 wheel will give you the best possible traction. If you were to only use one set you would need to install them on the primary drive axle of the vehicle. AWD vehicles typically send more power to either the front or the rear axles.
Be sure to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine if there are any tire chain restrictions as well.
