Question:
I purchased a used 2013 Big Tex car-hauler trailer with electric brakes on the rear axle only. I would like to buy the parts necessary to add electric brakes on the front axle. Axles are Dexter 3500 lb. with 5x5 bolt pattern ez-lube hubs. Can you recommend what I need? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
For replacement hub drums that will fit your Dexter 3,500 axle you would want the part # AKEBRK-35R-SA. This is an EZ lube hub that also has the 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern you need that will bolt right up to your spindle.
For brake assemblies you would then need the part # AKEBRK-35L-SA for the left hand side and then # AKEBRK-35R-SA for the right hand side.
I attached a picture that shows how to wire up both axles for you to check out as well.
