According to our friends at Curt Manufacturing, Front Mounted Receiver Hitch, part # C31063 is a fit for your 2000 Ford Ranger 4X4. If the truck is equipped with a skid shield, it must be removed to install the hitch. It will NOT fit on models with a front cross member.
