Question:
Hi What material is the hub made from? I want to make a wheel carrier and I need to weld onto the hub, is it possible? I also need a spindle with a square shank, do you have for this hub? Thanks

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Dexter and they told me that their hubs are construct of cast iron.
Cast iron is difficult, but not impossible to weld. For a square spindle to fit this hub you would want the part # TRU47FR.
