Components Needed To Install Thule Square Load Bars on 2015 Mazda CX-5

I have a 2015 Mazda CX 5 Grand Touring with a naked roof. I have Thule square bars from my old cars mounting system. I am planning to put these bars on my new car, and thus need just the Thule mounting feet. I was thinking of getting the Thule 480R feet that attach above the door. But, how do I know if I need the short / curved roof adapter for my car? The Thule Traverse Short Roof Adaptor 487? And, does this seem like the best option? Thanks!

We have the componenets you need to install Thule SquareBars on your 2015 Mazda CX-5, but you will not need the Thule Short-Roof Adapter Kit. This adapter is only needed for vehicles with short or curved rooflines that do not allow the feet to install properly. The rack will work without this adapter on your CX-5.
To install Thule SquareBars on your CX-5, you will want the Thule Evo Clamp Foot Pack # TH710501 that you referenced, and you will also want the Thule Fit Kit # TH145110 to fit the Evo Clamp foot to the contour of your CX-5's roof. This is the new style that replaces the Traverse Feet you referenced.
The length SquareBars Thule recommends for your vehicle are the 53 inch bars # TH712400.
