Question:
Can you tell me what the measurement is between the center of one mounting hole to the center of the other mounting hole. Wanting to place in pre-existing holes and need to make sure they measure the same hole distance.

The mounting holes of the Junction box part # 38656 that you referenced are 7-3/8 inches apart and are 1/4 inch in diameter.
