The SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243 is compatible with your 2013 Cadillac SRX with adjustable brake pedal. No additional parts are needed for installation but the system needs to be set up with the pedals as far back (closest to the seat) as possible. Once installed this way the pedals must be moved back each time the vehicle is towed.
A supplementary braking system like the Air Force One is one of the components essential to safe and legal flat towing. The other items include a tow bar, safety cables, a wiring/lighting solution and base plates on the towed car.
For base plates I suggest the Blue Ox # BX1690 since these have removable arms to let your SRX keep more of its normal appearance when not being towed. I linked an install video. I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha tow bar # BX7380 since it works great with these base plates and includes safety cables. For a lighting solution you can use the Roadmaster # RM-155 bulb and socket kit, or you can use a simple magnetic kit like # TLL21RK from Optronics which is easy to install and that requires no modifications to your vehicle. You may also need a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level. A link is provided to our page for items like # RM-076. If your RV has a 7-way you'll use # BX88206 to wire a socket to your vehicle for connection to the RV.
The linked article on flat towing may be of interest to you. Always consult the vehicle owner's manual before flat towing.
