Question:
Have 2 dual axle gooseneck trailers with older breakaway systems that worked fine when new 2002 and 2008 - Unfortunately they either dont have a charging system or it has failed in both cases. In fairness, trailers may sit for a month between uses. Still works when I replace batteries but expensive and a hassle. Which of your breakaway systems with chargers would you recommend as most cost effective and reliable? And do any have solar powered chargers?

For what you are looking for I think the Solar Panel Kit part # TLA7713 would be a great option to put a maintenance charge on the breakaway batteries of your trailers as they sit for extended periods of time. You will also need the regulator part # TLA7715.
I attached an install video that shows the panel being installed on a similar trailer battery.
The breakaway system part # 20099 would be a great option to as it has a charger built into it. I attached an install video for this as well.
