How Does the Sealed, 3-Light Truck, Trailer Identification LED Light Bar MCL97RB Ground
Published 10/20/2015 >
Question:
I want to install this particular light bar on a Bass Tracker trailer. The lights that are presently installed use a 2 wire configuration. Will this light still work by using the trailer for grounding and capping the ground wire? I would prefer another in a 2 wire configuration but if you can guarantee this one will work Ill go with it.

The lightbar part # MCL97RB that you referenced does ground through the mounting hardware. If one of the wires on your trailer's currently lighting is for the ground you could run it to the mounting hardware of the light or you could not use it.
If you check out the review video I attached you can see our demo guy run the white ground pin straight to the metal frame of the light to ground it. If where you want to install this light bar is a metal surface that touches the frame of the trailer it should ground just fine.
