Question:

I purchased a replacement pin for my Swagman bike carrier. I was sent P5901, but the OD of the pin is too large for the receiver. The shaft I need is not as thick as the P5901. Which threaded pin should I order?

The Swagman Replacement Threaded Hitch Pin and Clip # P5901 is designed to fit Swagman bikes racks with 2 inch shanks. This hitch pin has an outer diameter of 5/8 inch.

If your bike rack has a 1-1/4 inch shank then you will want to use # P5902. This hitch pin and clip also works on bikes rack that have a 1-1/4 inch shank with a 2 inch adapter installed. This hitch pin has an outer diameter of 1/2 inch.
