This is an old bike rack, early 2000s, I think. The Thule Cradle replacement part number is 753-2757. I need Replacement cradle # 853-7887 and the strap to replace it, right?? would buy two for matching cradles

Originally, your Thule 947 Hitching Post bike rack used cradles that had straps built into them. Thule doesn't make those cradles any more, but the Thule # 853-7887 would be the closest replacement, assuming that the bar on your bike rack is 1 inch in diameter. For each bike, you would need two # 853-7887 cradles and two # 852-3006-001 straps.
