The 2016 Volvo XC90 is part of the car's second generation, along with the 2014 and 2015 model years. For this vehicle we offer Curt Class III hitch # C13233. If used for non-trailer loads like a bike rack the hitch must be supported with a strap # 18050 per Curt warranty requirements.
For a ball mount you can use # C45030 and either 2-inch hitch ball # 63845 or 2-5/16-inch ball # 63847. For a hitch lock use part # e98880. For a wiring harness you can use # C56285 from Curt. This wiring harness is an easy-install plug-and-play type that provides a 4-pole flat type trailer connector.
