Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for 2015 Ram 1500 Short Bed
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I am contemplating getting the Ram eco diesel with short bed and my fifth wheel has the Reese Revolution installed and I have been pulling just fine with my 2008 Ram 1500 with hemi. Question is with the setup you described in the other instance was to use a slider. will my old Reese 16K fixed fit with the rails/gooseneck setup instead of using that Curt slider as in that case? I greatly appreciate the help all of you provide and I intend to keep ordering from E-trailer as I have in the past. Thank you

Since you haven't made your purchase yet, you are looking for a short bed truck, and have a trailer with a Reese Revolution I would recommend not getting the Eco-Diesel models as there is no way to install a fifth wheel rail kit in the bed of the truck.
I would recommend any motor configuration except the Eco-Diesel with a short bed. For a fifth wheel rail kit you would want the part # RP30035-386 and then for a hitch the part # RP30047.
I realize there is a B and W Companion fit for the Eco Diesel Rams, but since the Companion can't be used with a Reese Revolution I can't recommend that route either.
