is a 205/50/10 the same size as a 18x8.5-10?

The two tire sizes you mentioned are very similar but the 18x8.5-10 is 1/2 an inch wider. Aside from that they are the same height at 18 inches and fit a 10 inch rim.
The two sizes you mentioned aren't standard trailer tire sizes though. The closest size that we offer is the 205/65-10 like part # AM1HP56 which is the same width but 2-1/2 inches taller.
