Question:
I have two 2500 lb axles on my boat trailer. The diameter of the axle is 2 inches. Bolt pattern is 4. drum diameter is 10. 14 inch tires. I dont find brake assemblies with this criteria in your inventory. Should I just use those listed in the 3500 lb category?

Selecting correct hydraulic drum brake assemblies for your tandem axle trailer requires matching brakes to the axle capacity, the size of your hub/drums (please see linked photo) and to the type of brake flange on your spindles. The linked page will show you all hydraulic drum brakes we offer which are suited to axle capacities from 2500 to 15,000-lbs.
Usually a 2500-lb axle will have 7 x 1-3/4-inch brakes but if your trailer has 10-inch hubs it could be that the axles are rated higher than 2500-lbs or that higher-spec brakes were installed previously. If your hubs are indeed 10 x 2-1/4-inches (common for 3500-lb axles) then simply click on that brake size. You can then select the type you prefer, either free-backing brakes that allow you to reverse the trailer without the brakes engaging, or single- or duo-servo types. Be sure to select both left- and right-hand brakes. These brakes all have a 3-inch center hole diameter and a 4-hole mounting pattern.
If you need mounting hardware you can use nuts # 6-17, lock washers # 5-8 and bolts # 7-75.
