Question:
Hi, I have a Yakima bike rack. Thinking about purchasing this: e98882 If I use this, I no longer need to use the bolt in the hitch to secure the rack, correct? Currently the bike rack slides inside the hitch opening. We only use the hitch for the bike rack, so not real familiar with towing and hitches in general. Thanks for any help.

I have a solution for you, but the etrailer Lock part # e98882 that you referenced can't be used on Thule bike racks that have threaded hitch pins. Instead you would want the # THSTL2 as this will replace the threaded hitch pin you have with one that can be locked to the hitch and bike rack.
The # e98882 would require your bike rack to have just a standard hitch pin hole that would be much wider than the threaded hitch pin hole you currently have.
