Question:

I have a 2015 GMC HD2500 with the class V hitch. My current safety cable hooks worked well on my 02 GMC HD2500 with class IV hitch but due to the new design will not fit in the new holes provided. Any suggestions on what will fit?

I am not sure what the gross trailer weight is on what you are towing with your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 but I have some option that could work. We have quick link # C82932 which is rated for 16,500 pounds break strength and 3,300 pound safe working load limit and has a 1/2 inch diameter.

We also have # C81830 with a 15/32 inch diameter rated for 7,600 pounds per hook.

These items would allow you to use the chains you have but you would need to go by the capacity of the lowest rated component.
