Question:
Hi Etrailer, I recently purchased an EZ Hitch AM3296 from you and I didnt realize that my previously purchased CURT Receiver Locks #23579 would be too long for the ball. Is it still OK to use the CURT lock even though it is over an inch too long for the ball. I see there is a specific lock set AM3493 for this ball mount that includes the shorter lock, but I wasnt sure how necessary that was. Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
As long as the pin diameter matches up on your Adjustable Ball Mount part # FA42-00-2800 with the part # C23556 the locks being a bit too long would not matter.
Normally we would recommend the part # AM3493, but if the Curt fits it would work as well.
