Question:

Recently I was towing my camper I have the wtd hitch with Reese dual cam sway control and when I went to unhitch from the camper the dual cam sway control fell off the frame. The gold bolts holding the bracket onto the frame became loose or fell off on all but one. I am not sure if the dealer drilled the holes larger than they shouldve been or what, but Im looking to remedy the situation without leaving my camper with the dealer for a month. Is there a bigger bolt that I could use to fasten the sway control bracket or is it possible to drill all the way through the frame and use a standard bolt and washer system or will that compromise the frame of the camper? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sometimes this situation can occur and the first thing to try that will likely work is a set of rivet nuts # RP58507. With these rivet nuts you should not have to drill all the way through the trailer frame. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
