Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Tekonsha Primus IQ for 2015 Toyota Tundra
Updated 06/23/2015 | Published 06/21/2015 >
Question:
I have a Tekonsha Primus IQ. I had it installed in a 2013 Tundra. I recently purchased a 2015. I need help locating the connection in the truck. I searched your site and found where someone suggested it was in the area of the drivers side kick plate, or just above it. I was not able to find it there. I also need a new adapter if the one I currently have will not work. Thank you.

You will need a new adapter, Tekonsha Plug-In # 3031-P for your Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160-3040-P to work on your 2015 Toyota Tundra.
On your 2015 Tundra, the factory brake controller plug is behind the access panel located in the center of the dash on the driver's side. I have attached a photo from the installation details to help you find the access panel.
I have attached the installation details for this plug-in adapter for you.
