can I lift the top of the fuse box to get to a fusible link 2014 yukon

You have to be careful with the fuse box or power distribution box on your 2014 GMC Yukon because if you lift that handle (or the whole box) more than 3/8 of an inch it will become disconnected from the vehicle and you will have to have it towed to a GMC dealer to get the vehicle working again!

You can take the top cover off though to access the fuses and relays without any issue. You just want to avoid pulling the whole box up. I have included a link to our help article on installing a brake controller on a GM SUV or truck that might also help.
