Trailer Turn Signals and Brake Lights Not Working with a 2012 Ford F-350
Published 06/03/2015 >
Question:
I have a ,2012 f350 with no blown fuses and clean terminals but no blinkers or brake lights on the trailer tow package.are there any problem spots in the wiring on these trucks?

Expert Reply:
A lot of Ford trucks use fuses and relays for the tow package wiring. Use the owners manual to locate all of the relays and fuses associated with the tow package wiring. Also, there can be tow package fuses in both the power distribution box under the hood as well as in the in-cab fuse panel.
Checking fuses is easy but checking relays can be more difficult. the easiest way to test a relay is to use a known good relay in place of a potential bad one.
