Question:
What is the warranty period for this lock? Mine was mounted on a Cyclone Toy Hauler. It will not retract the cable. It appears that there are four holes in the nylon case that were facing upward, under the frame. Water and dirt entered through these holes, three appear to be mounting holes as they are threaded. The center hole is open. How do you keep the water out? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Lippert ToyLok Retractable Cable Lock with Padlock, part # LC337120 has a 1-year limited warranty.
The three holes you described are for attaching a hitch mounting kit for the retractable cable lock, part # LC337111.
If the system has moisture in it you may be able to use a lubricant to get it to free back up and retract the cable as designed. If not, the # LC337120 may need to be replaced. If you are not planning on using the holes in the cable lock, you can plug the holes to prevent any moisture or dirt from getting inside the unit.
