Can a Different Axle be Installed on a Harbor Freight Trailer Frame that is 48 Inches Wide

Question:

Plannig a small travel trailer with a gross weight of 2000#. Can I use this axle on a Harbor Freight 48x96 utility frame, with the HF 12 inch wheels? Thanks.

Yes, you could use axle # 20440I-EZ-60 for your trailer project! The width of your trailer is the same as the spring seat center to center measurement on the axle (48 inches). The hubs on this axle will accommodate up to 12 inch wheels with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. I have included a link to a video review of the axle for you.
