Question:

Hi, I purchased hubs brakes and bearings from you a couple weeks ago and have a question. When I removed the existing hubs they did not have an inner bearing. There was just a rubber . The hubs I purchased have an inner and outer bearing and they seem to fit okay. Bearings are definatly the right size, but the hub feels a little stiff on the spindle after install. I can spin it freely, but it will not continue to spin at all after I release. Is there a different type of inner seal or bearing I should be using or is it normal for the new hubs to be a little stiff at first?

It is not unusual for the hubs to be a little stiff at first. You will also want to make sure the wheels and bearings are well greased. I have included a link to a video that shows how to pack bearings with grease by hand. We also have a tool that can be used, # L70025, that you can use with a grease gun, # L30100, to limit the mess. I have also linked a grease compatibility chart for future reference.
