You will have to consult the owners manual for your 1989 S-15 Blazer to determine if your specific model can be flat towed behind a motor home. If you find that it is then the first item you will need is a base plate set.

We have Roadmaster base plates # 108-1 designed for full-size Blazers. For a compatible tow bar the most popular option is the Falcon 2, # RM-520 rated for up to 6,000 pounds. For safety cables you can use # RM-643. For lighting you can use a simple magnetic kit such as # RM-2120 which bypasses the vehicle wiring.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Even Brake proportional system # RM-9400. It will apply the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the RV is braking. This is the easiest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
