Comparing Bulldog Powered-Drive Jack Kits # BD1824200100 and # BD1824180100

Question:

Hi. I have a towmaster dump trailer THD14 old style. Can someone tell me if your item code BD1824200100 will work with my current factory bulldog jack? and what is the difference between the above item and code item BD1824180100? Thank you.

The difference between the two Bulldog powered-drive jack kits you referenced, parts # BD1824200100 and # BD1824180100, is that the first one is for a single-speed jack and # BD1824180100 is for a 2-speed jack. Both are rated for 12,000-lbs jacks.

My research did not reveal any photos or specs for the Towmaster THD214 dump trailer so I cannot state whether these kits are suitable. If you can confirm that the trailer uses a 12K Bulldog jack and confirm if it is a single- or 2-speed type then you should be able to determine which kit to use.
