Question:
Hi, I am trying to replace the old lights on my boat trailer with new L.E.Ds. I have both left/right turn/stop lights installed and working fine, with yellowandbrown on one side and greenandbrown on the other, also both lights have a ground wire, which I attached to the bolt and nut of light assembly. I also bought a LED center rear marker light used for trailers wider then 80inches I spliced the center light in with the brown wire from the left side turn signalyellowandbrown and ground the white wire from the light assembly with a self.taping screw. All lights and operations will work except the center light. I dont know if the brown wire is supplying power to the center light. Do I need a diode bridge? If so how does the prongs/installation work? Side with one prong from harness? Side with two prongs go to each light? Or do I even have this concept right? Any help would be great! Thanks!

If you are using light # STL22RB check the back of it to see the functions of each of the connectors. You would use a harness like # A45PB to plug into the back. The white wire is ground, black is running lights, and red would be brake light/turn signal which would not be used for your application.
A diode isn't needed. I think the issue is a bad ground connection which is more common on boat trailers with aluminum frames. Routing the ground wire to the main trailer connector ground or grounding to the axle should complete the circuit.
