Question:

I am considering buying a Subaru Impreza sport. I know that the Subaru crosstek xv and the Impreza are materially the same except for a raised chassis and lager tired on the xv. My question is: Can the 2inch receiver hitch for the xv Code: C13135 fit the Impreza? I am simply looking to install the 2 inch receiver to affix a bike rack not to tow.

There is a Curt hitch that is a confirmed fit for both the 2015 Subaru Impreza (hatchback and single exhaust models) and the 2015 Subaru Crosstek XV, but it is a Class I hitch. Check out Curt trailer hitch # C11286. This hitch is great for light towing or carrying up to two bikes on a hitch mounted bike rack.

Curt Class III Hitch # C13135 is a confirmed fit for a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek (hatchback and single exhaust models), but is not a fit for the Impreza which only takes Class I hitches.
