Can Taller Equalizers be Used for Better Clearance Between Suspension and Trailer Frame

Question:

This is the current equalizer installed on my coleman caravan camper. The cutouts in the frame were the TSB fix to the shackle bolts hitting the inside of the frame and getting stuck. As I replace the suspension on this camper, can I install a taller equalizer to keep the new shackle bolts from hitting the frame?

You can use taller equalizers but you will likely have to add taller hangers too so that everything increases in height the same. Otherwise you will have a suspension that is not level. I have included a link to the hanger main page for double-eye springs for you.
