Question:

Thule - 2 bike trunk mount bike rack for 2002 Audi A4.....can I get locks from you? Would you recommend this rack or another? I cannot do the roof rack.

The Thule Passage 2 trunk-mount bike rack # TH910XT that you referenced is a fine choice for your 2002 Audi A4. This rack fits the sedan, wagon and Allroad versions of the A4. You can refer to the linked video for a demo of installation.

Trunk-mount racks cannot be locked to your car but you can add a theft-deterrent device like the Thule Passive Security Strap # TH533 and a cable lock like # e98891 to lock the bikes to the rack.

If security is a primary concern you could install a hitch # 11164 (if you have the sedan or wagon) and use a rack that includes locks for your bikes. A great option is the Thule EasyFold # TH903202 that includes locks for both the rack itself AND for your bikes.

If you will transport bikes without a top frame tube - some women's and kids types for example - then you'll need an adapter bar # 64005 to keep such bikes level on the carrier. This can be used with a trunk or hitch-mount rack.
