Looking for a receiver hitch for a 1953 Chevy 3100. The frame is 46inch wide at where the bumper mounts.

I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit an older truck like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916.
