What is the Towing Capacity of a 2013 Ford Edge 3.5L TiVCT

Question:
I have a ford edge with air suspension 1000 in back with factory Hitch installation. I want to know if may factory installation is ok for 6000 gtw or I need to change my Hitch receiver or ad an other hitch receiver under the faactory Hitch.

According to the owner's manual for your 2013 Ford Edge if it has the 3.5 liter TiVCT and front wheel drive OR 3.5 liter TiVCT all wheel drive the maximum it can tow is 3,500 pounds. All other configurations of the vehicle are rated lower (page 249 in the manual).
Even if a trailer hitch is rated higher you are still limited to the lowest rated component, in this case the vehicle, so you would not be able to tow 6,000 pounds.
