Best Clamps to Secure the Rhino Rack Universal Side Load to Yakima Round Bars

Question:
Hello, I asked a question about the Rhino Side Loader fitting the Yakima round bars. Chris B answered my question very quickly and said the side loader was compatible. I ordered the Rhino Side Loader and it arrived yesterday. I appreciate the great service. However, when I went to fit it on the crossbars, there doesnt seem to be a good fit on the Yakima round bars. I read the instructions and tried another combination of the bar clamps and it still doesnt seem to fit. Do you have any suggestions for making this product fit the Yakima roundbars. What configuration of the clamps would you recommend? I will be loading a Hobie Pro Angler which is not only a heavy, but quite expensive fishing kayak, and I dont want to damage that or my Hyundai Santa Fe. I am hoping that it will fit, because the Side Loader looks very sturdy, a lot more sturdy than the Yakima Boat Loader. I included a picture of my rack the bars are bare now, no saddle or hullyrollers Thanks for your help,

Thanks for the feedback!
The clamps that are the best fit are clamp 1 and 3. It doesn't matter which one you utilize as the top or bottom. You will have to take one foam pad off number 5 or 6 and put on either 1 or 3.
The number 1 clamp you may need to bend out just a tad so your Yakima bar has a more snug fit.
With that said, you will be good to go.
