The Tekonsha Brake Control harness, part # 3020-P, is designed to fit Dodge/Chrysler vehicles equipped with a factory tow package that includes a brake controller port underneath the dash. The Magnums did not get these tow packages. You can still use a brake controller, but you will need to do some wiring since you do not have the brake controller port.
There are 4 wires on most brake controllers: white, black, red and blue. The white is a ground wire and should be run to the negative terminal on the car battery. The black is a power wire and should be run to the positive terminal on the battery with a 20- or 30-amp circuit breaker, part # 9506P or part # 38630. Your brake controller instructions should tell you which to use. The red wire is the stop light wire and should be spliced to the wire coming off the brake pedal switch that goes hot when the pedal is pushed. I would suggest using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to make sure you have the right wire. Finally, the blue wire is the brake controller output and should be run to the proper pin on your 5/6/7-Way trailer connector.
I have included links below to the parts mentioned above as well as a brake controller installation article and videos that should be pretty helpful to you.
